After out-dueling one of the nation’s most talented teams and defending Non-Select 5A State Champions, the Landry Walker Charging Bucs, it would be hard pressed to find a more talented team. Seems as though, the Patriots have found that team. The Patriots next opponent, the Grayson (GA) Rams come in even more highly decorated than the Charging Bucs from Algiers New Orleans. Ranked nationally as high as #5, and ranked in all polls, the Rams are the defending Georgia 7A State Champions, where they defeated Roswell 23-20. The Rams opened the season with a huge win over the talented, and nationally ranked, Hoover Bucs. This past week they defeated rival McEachern, to set up Saturday’s showdown. The game will take place in Shreveport as part of the Battle on the Border Showcase series. Kickoff is set for 3:00.

The Rams feature four players already committed to Florida State, one player committed to LSU, one to Kansas State, one to Northwestern, one to Arkansas State, five other players with Power 5 offers and at least 5 more with FBS and/or FCS offers. Plus, that doesn’t even count, their most sought after prospect, who holds offers from a “who’s who” of college football powers! You can read about some of them in this article that is linked here.

The Patriots will need every ounce of support they can get. So, get out your red, white and blue, pack your bags, and head northwest to Shreveport! We look forward to seeing you there!
