Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · Girls/Boys SWEEP district track meet titles!

The girls track team entered into the district 9-5A meet as the favorites to win the title. The boys, however, came in as the underdogs. Both teams, though, came through in a big way in sweeping the district track meet and winning the titles. It was a huge accomplishment for both teams and one they should be very proud of.

This season, the girls team has been fairly dominant in meets throughout the year. You never know what can, and will, happen once you begin competing at a high level and regional births are on the line. One mis-step, one tweak, one bad day ends the season and so much that an athlete has worked for. On this day there were numerous contributors to the title.
